Hmm... Mary Poppins looks a little younger than I remember....

And a little reality check with the current actress...

I could use some of those magic animals and birds that appear in Disney movies to help clean up places.  "Just a bucket full of bleach makes the toilet smell nicer... Have it little birds.  And don't spill any bleach anywhere.  Not one drop.  And... a little less chirping, a little more work, eh?   You!  Squirrels!  I want you to move these 60 pound dumbbells to the other side of the room.  No... Not you raccoon.  You look like you've got rabies.  I don't like the look of you.  You're out."

Yep.  Mary Poppins and Morticia Addams...

Some quick/rough math...

Julie Andrews, born in 1935.
Mary Poppins is from 1964.
So she was about 29 years old.
About 79 now.

Addams family... also 1964.  1964-66.
Carolyn Jones (I) (1930–1983)
She would have been about 34-36.
Died at age 53 though.

source: imdb of course.

Bingo....  Makes sense.     *Bob thinks he shouldn't start getting used to saying bingo...*

She's not looking young.

There must be some age where it's just old.  Maybe 70+... ish?  At some point it's not really mattering so much.  I suppose the lady in the pic above could be 80+ though.  And then there's the 120-year type of old where if they get breathed on, they'll die.

Either way, that does not look like a good future.  They're going to have to figure out how to reverse and/or slow/halt aging.  Or else figure out how to transfer us out of bodies that only last 120 year max.

Hmmm...I really don't mind aging as long as most parts work...it's the dying thing that should be reversed...

I wouldn't mind transferring my conscience into a completely virtual reality. As soon as the technology is ready, I'll sign up. After making sure there's a proper back up plan...and virus pretention  8)
