Estampes Pagodes Debussy Fingering Help!!!!

So I started learning this piece on my own. I am going to take piano lessons in the fall with my previous piano teacher but that is ways away. I want to start on it now.

In bar 3 and 5 and similar patterns throughout the piece. I can't reach the notes in my right hand with f sharp, g sharp and another sharp an octave higher and the the 16th note passage. The only think I could think of is playing the f sharp and g sharp with my thumb while I play the 16th note passage on top.

However that is really awkward. Is there an easier way to play it?
