Violin hickeys

You know how violinists have violin hickeys?

What about pianists?  What do we have?!  I want something to be proud of!

Piano hickeys?  Where?!

No, but we have a muscle that no one else has.  If you flex your fifth and fourth fingers down to a 90 degree angle, there's a muscle that should bulge out from the side of your hand.  SOOO sexy.... :-*

Carpal tunnel?

It's more of an internal thing, an angst.  Piano hickey of soul.

I have been bitten by a few piano when I try to glissando.

Or pianist butt I guess from sitting too much, too long.

While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
