Brahms Piano Sonata No. 1 In C Major Op. 1

I think pretty soon I am going to start learning this sonata. When I learn pieces, I like to read about the history of the piece. I don't know why, but I do. I can't find anything about this sonata, however, so if anybody here knows anything, I would appreciate it.
