Please see the post I made concerning rhythm practice:
https://pianoforum.net/smf/index.php/topic,4648.0.html
I think that's one of the best ways to go about learning those cadenzas. There are other good things you should be doing, but this will get you started. Also, go over the fingering very carefully... I use a different fingering than what was printed in my version of that piece at the suggestion of my [then] teacher Jane Allen and it was much easier after that.
Try this fingering and see if it helps. First cadenza:
RH: 4/2, 3/1, 5/2, 3/1, etc, going up. then down is 5/3, 4/2, 5/3, 4/2, 3/1, 2/1 - 4/2, 3/1, 4/2, 3/1 4/2, 3/1 - 5/2, 3/1, 5/2, 3/1, 4/2, 3/1 - 4/2, 3/1, 4/2, 3/1, 5/2, 3/1, etc.
LH starting at the Eb in meas 24: 53213212 - 231523 - 152314 - 121212 - 121212 - 121212- 121212 - 121212, etc. You'd be surprised how well those 1 and 2 fingers work going down!
Second cadenza:
RH: 42314231 - 42314231 - 31423142 - 31314231 - 42314231 - 31423131 - 5/3 43212 - 312345 - 312345 - 312345 - 231423 - 152314 - 231523 - 142313 - 12324242424242524, etc
LH: 313142 - 414241 - 314241 - 424131 - 414241 - 314241 - 424131 - 2/4
Remember it will be easier to practice and perform if you're subdividing into groups of 6 notes on the beat, so keep that in mind. Let me know if you're totally confused -- and good luck!
