Yamaha Piano C3 LA
on: June 04, 2013, 12:08:48 PM
I have yamaha grand piano C3 LA which roughly build in 2006. I bought the piano second hand from a piano store who distribute gray market pianos. On the last tuning, the technician inspect it and according to him all parts are still original Yamaha parts nothing replaced or done to it. I wonder is it wort it to voice the piano to make the sound more mellow?? Anybody knows a specialist technician in Melbourne Australia? I am worry that any technicians would say they are experienced in voicing pianos, but doing a poor job.

In general the action is quite stable and just need minor regulation. Is it worth to think of trading this piano to buy an older steinway for example - knowing may be here in Australia most Steinways are SteinWAS.

Any suggestions or input anybody??
