Where to find recorded singing scales?
on: June 06, 2013, 07:30:54 AM
* I took two singing lessons with two different teachers.

They used scales when asking me to sing (I failed miserably), so I sang along the scale they were doing, but mostly they did 3-5 notes up and then went down, so not sure how that is a scale.

So where do I find a pre-recorded version of that?

Example:

The guy is pushing a button on his recorder and the scale comes out at around 1:25 and then at 1:55.

This would help so very much. I have decided not to follow singing classes and just learn at home for a while.

Anyone?

You want recorded, singing scales, I'll freakin' hook you up, girl.  I'll sing the a** off those scales.

Do you see any scales with an a** on it?  Yeah, I didn't think so.  That is because I sang it off.

No just recorded scales. But I already found one:

It's going a little fast to my taste though.

And it's boy/guy/man^^.

I am confused...why would you need prerecorded scales for singing  when you have a piano?

It makes it easier for me, because I probably will screw up when someone else plays the scale while I try to sing when I'm used to singing while playing the scale on the piano myself.

But today I just sung the notes on my piano which went somewhat satisfying.

This exactly what I have been looking for. My brother always wants me to help him warm up his singing skills and can never remember where to begin. :)
