mental focus [Bob asks]
on: October 31, 2004, 04:50:56 PM
Any ideas about how to re-focus the mind?
Sometimes I wake up, but my mind is not. Remember those hear monitor machines with the little blip every time there's a pulse? And then the flatline when there is no pulse? That flat line is what my mind feels like sometimes. I'm awake, but my mind is offline. I'm sure part of it is lack of sleep, but even when I'm rested after this has happened, my mind still can be "offline." I've found reading is a great way to refocus it.
Do have any other ideas? (Bernhard?)
