I want to improve my english
on: June 09, 2013, 09:06:15 PM
Hello guys !
My name is Filiz, I'm 17 years old and I'm new on this forum!
Piano has become my passion since 2 years now. I started to learn alone, and I'm taking lessons since september 2012. I really love to play!
I am french, and I'm learning english ta school. So I thought it can be a good idea to meet and to speak to others people about piano!
I would like to progress in english, so I hope you would talk to me
Bye!
BTW Please excuse my bad english !

You're English is already quite a bit better than my French, so I congratulate you (and, by the way, welcome to the forum!). Just simply reading the various posts will, inevitably, help. The only suggestion I might have would be that when you reply to a post, and you should feel welcome to do so, as you like, take a little time and be sure to write clearly and correctly.
Not that all of us, even native English speakers, always do that!

Thank you iansinclair!
Reading others posts will help, I'm sure!
I saw that I made a few mistakes on my previous posts!
But I sent them from my phone, it's more difficult to write. I'll try to use my computer to post next time!
I'll try to reply to many posts!
But I'm sitting for my exam next week. So I'll try to find some Time!
But please, do correct my sentences when they're not good (like this one for example!
)

Hello! Welcome to pianostreet!
It's nice to know that you (apart from the fact that you like playing the piano) want to improve your english. However, don't worry about it! I'm sure that communicating with other people in english will be of great help to you.
Have a good time,
Evitaevita
P.S. I'm not a native speaker either. For me, speaking (writing!...) in english, was a valuable experience too.
