I really liked Volodos at Carnegie Hall, and Pletnev at Carnegie Hall.
These live recordings capture the spontaneity that studio recordings lack.

I'll never forget how I hit the ceiling when I heard clapping at the end of Marc-Andre Hamelin's Alkan Op. 76 etudes recording. From his "Live at Wigmore Hall" CD.

The recording of the OJ robbery is pretty dramatic
