Composers
on: June 22, 2013, 04:14:42 PM
Hi I'm new to piano street  :)
I just wanted to know who your favourite composers are and who you think I would like based on mine.
Mine are: Debussy, Ravel, Skrjabin and Quilter (his piano music is little-known but sublime)
Currently working on:
Debussy: Images Book 2 No.2
Ravel: Sonatine Menuet
Haydn: Sonata XVI/25
Mussourgsky: The Great Gate of Kiev

@Thal
I bet you have answers like this saved in a seperate document, so you can keep copy-pasting, since you probably have already seen every question here! It must be very tiresome for you to stay active on this forum ;) Try to remember though that some opinions change in general, and some people do change their opinion over time.

@OP
My opinion has not changed (as far as i know); my favourite is still Rachmaninov.
