Interesting... I suspect one would have to know the underlying financials of the company to know if changes are likely to be afoot.

This for me means they plan to start making pianos somewhere where labor is cheaper...

Actually, I suspect that they are looking to sell more pianos where you are thinking rather than move manufacturing there (though that may or may not be on the cards).
Historically, they have been biggest in the US and reasonably big in Europe. Both have probably not been the best of markets to have been in for the last few years. Emerging markets in China and India particularly need to be part of their future planning, one would have thought.
