I have been using these cd's for over a year now. Many of the songs do not contain much if any fingering at all. That's ok, though, as I like to write down my own fingerings where needed. It's not rocket science to figure this out and I've become adept at it. I have not found any errors as of yet in these scores. How do I know? For each song that I print out and try to learn, I also download the MIDI version of this song. I will also listen to MP3's of live recordings of the song to get a good impression of what it's supposed to sound like. What's cool about the Midi files, is that I have a Yamaha S90 keyboard that is plugged into my pc. I can play the Midi file from my computer, using some sequencing software, and it will play on the keyboard. What's even cooler is the ability to slow down or speed up the tempo of these songs to facilitate learning them, as I can also play along as the midi file is playing. What's even coolest is that these midi files are usually separated into separate tracks, 1 for the right hand, 1 for the left. With my new found strategy of learning HS, (thank you Bernhard and Chang), I can for example, cut the midi left hand track from playing and only have it play the right hand while I, at the keyboard will play the left hand portion. Vice versa for the right of course. I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now, and it is an incredible tool for playing HS, thus accelerating the learning and memorization process.
Overall, I am very happy with these cd's.
Isn't computer technology a wonderful tool?
