This a brilliant, refined and sophisticated miniature, and reveals an aspect of your spontaneous creation new to us on the forum. Satiesque in both character and title, it actually comprises a great deal of phrasal and melodic self-reference, thereby making its form rather strong. In fact, had I heard it without seeing the post, I doubt I would have attributed it to you. But constantly reaching out in new personal directions is what improvisation is all about; well, it is for me anyway. The more diverse our modes of expression, both traditional and experimental, the more we open ourselves to all possible musical means and the less we reject, the better improvisers we shall be.
