Has to be beethovens appasionata mainly for the many different moods shooting around thought the piece, it's been playing in my head for about 2 years now. It makes me feel content and then sad and then nothing. Kinda depressing honestly but it's my favorite piece written for solo piano. It interests me in so many ways.
Right now?Evidently I need some
OMFREAKING GOSH!!! That is sooo rand-o!! XD
Awesome! Why nothing? what does that mean?
Assuming "rand-o" is some permutation of "random", I fear you've missed the point.Translation: "I currently feel [blank], Evidently I need some [coffee (cantata)].
To go temporarily off-topic, I aonce asked a group of musicians to name three pieces connected with coffee and J S Bach's so-called Coffee Cantata and the 1920s Brown / de Silva song You're the Cream in my Coffee were soon suggested but no one seemed immediately able to come up with a third that had occurred to me which is by a great musician who happens to have been one of the longest-lived of French composers - so, who can name it?Right - now where's the coffee?...Best,Alistair
All I can think of is The Coffee Song as sung by Frank Sinatra, though he wasn't French and he didn't write it.Or there's Black Coffee by Sonny Burke, .... not French either though.
