claire de lune and the Feurich piano

I.m looking at this video, the top section of the video seems to be an overlay , his finger tips disappear and there is video distortion where the music stand would be

just curious , wonder why he do this

That distortion is the music stand. Feurich use a rather distinctive one (though Stuart and Sons have something similar). The rest appears quite normal to me.
