DipABRSM in Instrumental Teaching
on: August 29, 2013, 12:51:02 PM
I'm preparing for the DipABRSM in Teaching (Piano), but I have a very patchy idea of what the Viva Voce will be like. Has anyone here sat for the above exam? Could you please enlighten me on...
1) How did you prepare for the Viva Voce?
2) What topics did you cover during your course of study?
3) How long will I need to prepare for this exam? 1 year? 2 years?
4) What questions did the examiner asked you?
5) What answers did you give?
6) How will my practical teaching experience benefit me in the exam?
7) What's your overall opinion of the exam? (was it tough, etc) Any additional advise?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions!
