Wind Symphony
on: August 31, 2013, 02:09:24 PM
I just became the pianist for the wind symphony at my college. The director only had two pieces for me to play along with, and he said he wouldn't know if he would have a place for me in the future due to the fact not all music for a wind symphony music requires a piano.
I would really like to secure my spot with those guys, so if anyone know of any good wind symphony music that has a piano in it that would be great. Im not looking for a concerto, but rather a piece of music that has the piano mixed in with the other instruments.
The two pieces im playing is the second movenment of Trittico by Vaclav Nelhybel. and New Century Dawn by David Gillingham.
If anyone knows of anything somewhat similar to those please let me know.
