I got the Brahms Piano Concerto to learn for a competition - I'm not just going to learn a piece of music because some random twat challenged us

because i prolly can't play it well? i'm just curious how hard the piece actually is, because although every single person on youtube except marasy8 has failed at it, that might not be the case here...

I will address everything you've said in a straightforward, concise format so it's easier for you to understand.

Yes, I did. I don't consider it impossible that someone would be interested in taking up the challenge; I myself would have responded to such a challenge if it were something I was better at just because it is satisfying to complete such challenges and gain recognition for having done so. That's part of human nature.

First of all, I don't have to do what you tell me to. Second, apparently you don't know how to read and understand english, because in my previous post I've said I'm not good enough to play the piece well. Third, even if i could play it well, that doesn't even address the purpose of my thread; I wanted to see/hear SOMEONE ELSE play it from the forums, not myself. (out of curiosity... which is ALSO part of human nature).

Because everything I've posted in this thread is in line with human nature and, thus, makes sense. I didn't create this thread with the intent to troll, it was out of genuine curiosity. But now that you've opened the door to getting trolled with your stupid, accusatory comments, screw you.

This idiot has too few brain cells, and is clearly a troll due to the odd/schizophrenic changes in his typing, grammar, language.

I've often had fun mocking idiots, but to me - making fun of this guy would be like stealing an ice cream off a 6-year old and making him watch you eat it... cruel and distasteful.

First of all, the piece is really not that difficult. There are some fast octaves, and some arpeggio, that's it.
The reason why people here wont learn it, is because it's not very good music.

It's obviously better than Ballade Poop Adeline, but it has a far way to, say, the Beethoven sonatas.

Secondly: P_P, really? Overreacting much, again? I haven't seen you a lot in the forum lately, and suddenly you keep yourself busy with what you believe is a troll. leave it if you don't like it, or report him then... No need with the insults.

could someone please explain what good music means? does it mean something that sounds good, a composition that shows brilliant structure, etc..?
(btw im not trying to be defensive, i just want to know)

and yeah i agree with you, it doesn't seem too hard of a piece; it's just that every other attempt on youtube except for the one posted is cringeworthy, which is some indication of its difficulty (though part if it is cuz it's obscure)
