Waldstein 3rd movement trill !
on: September 22, 2013, 08:08:47 PM
Hello ,
I'm studying Beethoven's Waldstein sonata (op.53) and i'm a little bit confused about the trill notes in the 3rd movement (bars 51 ,52, 53, etc...). The trill begins with a or with g? Which note do i play on the beat ?
Thanks  ;)

Which ever one you like the best. Many interpret that trill differently.

Basically the choice is yours. I personally think beginning with the A sounds better.

All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
