Topic: Can you guys write down the fingering for this sequence of notes, please?  (Read 1882 times)

Hallo guys,

Here i am again. I came across this exercise for the left hand. But it might be stupid, but indont know how the fingering is going till the end.

As its not so mane notes, i would really appreciate it if someone writes down the fingering for me.

The same pattern of alternating fingers 4-5 throughout (see image).
No amount of how-to information is going to work if you have the wrong mindset, the wrong guiding philosophies. Avoid losers like the plague, and gather with and learn from winners only.

What does this exercise train? it seems weird to bounce back and forth with the ring and pinky on the 5th to 7th note.

I thought it was weird too - but then I thought, hey, I'm learning a Bach fugue and the 4 and 5 fingers are given quite a workout (even that 5-4-5 hopping) while the 1,2,3 fingers are doing other things. So yeah, I could see a potential use for an exercise that improves the 4,5 fingers that doesn't go all the way as complicated as a fugue.

These are some exercises by Isodor Philipp. I think its very useful for me. I am interested in improvisations, therefore i am doing many kind of finger exercises to train finger and hand independence
