Last week I was listening to the most beautiful slow movement of Beethoven's piano sonata op. 109, which I think belongs to one of the 5 most beautiful slow Beethoven movements. As I was listening I got the earnest desire to hear this variation movement in a symphonic orchestra form, so I tried to do an orchestration - here it is!

I cannot tell you how satisfying this has been for me in the recent days! I recorded it with the software Garritan Personal Orchestra.

You may get people who disagree with what I'm about to say, but I'll say it nonetheless.

It's usually a pretty good idea to arrange orchestral music for solo piano. It's not usually a good idea to arrange solo piano music for orchestra.
