Can I play more than 4 pieces in ATCL piano exam?
on: November 07, 2013, 09:36:05 AM
Well there're 4 periods, baroque, classical, romantic and 20th C,
and my choices are:

Bach Prelude and Fugue in F# minor, bmv 859 ~5 mins
Beethoven Sonata op.90 in E minor ~13 mins
Chopin Nocturne op.62 in E major ~5 mins
Rachmaninov Prelude in G, op. 32 no. 5 and Prelude in G# minor, op. 32 no. 12 ~5 mins

So clearly they are only about 28 mins all together, which is below the 32-38 mins time duration for ATCL. SO I'm asking if it is possible to play one more piece to fill the time, even though the period will probably be repeated? If yes, any suggestions?

I played 6 for my AT.  Bach, Mozart, Brahms, Szymanowski, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy.
