I just love so many of Debussy's pieces (pretty much all of them, but for reference, the Suite Bergemasque, the Arabesques, Sarabande from pour le piano, Bruyeres prelude, and ballade are my favorites) because they are beautiful and so different than most other composers' I've heard, and was wondering if there were any others that were beautifully emotional similar to the way his pieces are.
Thanks for the suggestions. I listened to Ibert and Frederic Delius and those were great suggestions, exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to check out more later
Listen to Debussy's Estampes
Are you suggesting he didn't write it?
What are you talking about?
Estampes is, as far as I know, BY Debussy, not LIKE Debussy.
You always seem to be finding something to nitpick.
