is this worth changing for my left hand scale?
on: November 19, 2013, 01:14:30 AM
ok so for c major scale, i recently started practicing with hands separated. one thing I noticed was that for my left hand scale, when im turning over my hand to start the next octave, the next note I play, which is a D with my ring finger, sticks out from the rest cuz im hitting it harder (from motion from passing thumb under). is it worth to painstakingly play c scale slower to try to make it more even?

Try playing the scale with a quick repeat on D.
A quick repeat is just like it sounds. Repeat very quickly using the same finger, without interrupting the overall flow of the context.
