3 months with my Steingraeber Phoenix 205
on: December 10, 2013, 01:49:12 AM
It's been a little more than 3 months since my Steingraeber Phoenix 205 arrived from Hurstwood Farm Pianos.

I've composed a blog post (the 5th in a series) about what I've learned from it over these last several months.

There are links at the end of the post for time travel through parts 4, 3, 2, 1.

I'm glad you're liking your new piano that's great !
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

Thanks, it's very interesting to read your comments. I must say I was very impressed with the Phoenix instruments when I visited Hurstwood Farm 3 or 4 years ago.
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.

as far as i'm concerned hf is the best. when you need information there you get it. i couldn't be more pleased with the piano. but i still think finding hf and working with them on it was what made everything possible.
