Liszt's Don Juan Fantasie - continue or not?
on: January 19, 2014, 07:24:44 AM
Been in a bit of a dilemma lately as to what I should do with my progress on the Don Juan Fantasie. To start, I kind of began learning it as a joke to see if I could even play any of it at a satisfactory level. Up to this point, i've learned the entire second half of the fantasia starting from the end of the aria variations. I actually found this section to be quite fun and easy to learn and have been debating if I should learn the first half of the fantasia now that I have the second? How does the difficulty of the second half (champagne aria) compare to the first? I know its a silly question but, the only problem is that school has started up again and I can't quite devote the much time to piano nowadays

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be doing it.
