Is there any etude for right hand only?
on: January 24, 2014, 09:23:06 AM
I'm recently experiencing some annoying pain of my left hand, perhaps due to over-exercised when pratising Chopin's etude. But I must keep practising, may I ask if there is any etude that is only for right hand? It'd be better if there is no chord with a larger interval than 10. I can't play Alkan's etude for right hand...

Try to learn the Flight of the Bumblebee, all the hard work is on the right hand, and you can add the left hand once you recover

That is a bit too difficult for me... Hope I can play it in the future.

Try searching Czerny right hand exercises/studies. I'm pretty sure he wrote some

I'd be glad to search them, Czerny are less boring than schmitt
