My classical piano composition no1
on: January 31, 2014, 12:59:11 PM
It's digitaly recorded(the notes are just inserted on piano VSTI) so there is not so much balance in dynamic and there is no "human feel".
Also I don't have any composing knowledge and don't know much about harmony.
Let me know what you think and your critique

Nice Job Daniel,
If you search around on the forum a little bit you may find someone who will play this for you as it's not too difficult.

It sounds very Bach like. I liked/enjoyed it.

Bach? I thought it was more like Mozart. Just my ears, I guess.
The piece seems to flow, that's good. There are Rhythmic compensations tough.
The Burlesque in G major has been an influence on you I guess
I don't know if you're serious about composing music, I'll respond considering that you are.
Harmony knowledge doesn't contribute very much to this kind of music. It's pretty much instinctual. But you should study theory intensely if you want to improve and find your own sound.
Study counterpoint and write variations to pieces you play or melodies you like, for example.
