My pick would be the first movement of Schuberts D960.
For my final moment on Earth? Depending on the quality of that monent either John Cage: As slow as Possible or Chopin: Prelude 28-14
Cage may not require much quality of the moment, but will certainly require a great deal of quantity of it.
If we're talking about about Schubert, how about the second movement from his D959 sonata? There's the second movement from his Wanderer Fantasie that's also a blast to play, if only I could play the rest of the fantasie ;_________; There's also these really sweet landlers in d major (two of them), and one in b minor. If you play them in a set, they really really fit well together. It's too bad I can't remember the D numbers, this guy wrote a shitload of music.Liadov Prelude Op. 40 No. 3 or Op. 39 No. 2 Chopin Op. 15 No. 3, the f major section is even marked as "religioso" or something like that in my edition at least. Largo from his 3rd Sonata is also nice. Also, Liszt's funerrailes, and I'll try to find an awesome arrangement of Brahm's allegretto from his 3rd symphony. Oh god, so much musicccccccccccccccccBut if I really had to pick, I'd take Brahm's 4th symphonyor Mendelssohn's F minor String QuartetOr Verdi's RequiemAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i can't choose
