How to stop forgetting the left hand?

In nocturne No.8 chopin I keep on having these memory spasms what do I do? Performance is in a week.

Practice only the left hand part alone in short pieces.

If you have not done this already, it might help to analyze the harmonic progressions. I find it much, much easier to remember things if I think of them as harmonic progressions rather than individual notes. There's the additional benefit that if your memory slips it will usually just slip into another version of the correct chord, so nobody who isn't following the score is likely to notice.

Good advice so far. I did this for the Chopin Op 25, No.2 and I never have memory slips (but I consistently have memory slips on other pieces):
1) Analyze harmony
2) Practice left hand alone enough to be able to play through the piece with the left hand alone.
This is not as hard as you think for short pieces, it won't take you too long either. In 2 days, you could be well on your way to relatively permanent memory for the piece.
