Playing By Ear
on: March 17, 2014, 05:49:37 AM
Hello,
This is my first post! I was given a keyboard as a gift a few years ago by my then boyfriend who was teaching me to play- however that didn't pan out. I still have the keyboard though so I have been practicing myself.
So I will say that I can't read sheet music well- even if I could there is not any available for the song I'm learning to play! I've searched everywhere for it! There are not any proper YouTube videos either!
It's a simple song and I've managed most of it by ear but the more complex bits I have been playing around with for ages and can't seem to figure out. If anyone can have a listen to the song and help me out that'd be awesome!
It's 'Barricade' by the Canadian band Stars.
It's just the part at the end of the intro before the singing starts that I am stuck on as to how to play it.
If you could just tell me what keys to press (From the left side, in the order CDEFGABCDEFG) that would be awesome!
Again, you have my sincere gratitude for assisting me with this!
-P
