Think you are some kind of virtuoso?

This man could probably kill you with his bare hands.

I don't think I've ever seen a pare of hands display such extreme musical skill in my whole life!

Fascinating!
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

This guy is even better.
He has a 3 octave range, beautiful vibrato, and excellent intonation!

He also composes lovely music for the hand flute!

No, not the most musical pair if hands on earth.  I know it's kind of unique and cool, for that I'll give it credit.  But, I couldn't listen to either one without being bothered immensely by details at every moment.

Bothered immensely by details?

What details?

The slight detail that you cannot play the hand flute like a master?

 ;D

Maybe the most musical FARTING pair of hands, perhaps... but I don't think it's as beautiful as Mitsuhiro Mori's handflute playing!  ;D

Bothered immensely by details?

What details?

Non existent dynamic contrast, pitchiness, lack of phrasing, lack of tonal contrast, imprecise rhythms, imprecise technical control, disjunct/unbalanced ensemble, lack of musical connection between notes, bad acoustics and recording balance ... hmmmm ... then some vocal-related things.  Am I being too mean?

About 1:30.  He yacks for the first part. ::)

I can't find one with a dog howling as a duet.

Technically... Sometimes it's called raping the music.  Sometimes it's called raping the instrument.  So... He's raping his hands here, right?  With a mysterious floating arm in the background.

*Bob tears up.*  :'( ::) ;D

I was trying to find this...

Sounds like she's got giant hands, if that was actually played on the hand flute.

Interesting.... both of those people use the "cupped" hands technique and are quite skilled with it.

The most skilled virtuoso hand whistlers can get 3 octaves using the "interlocking fingers" method.

I just started practicing today and I can get almost one octave! It's really fun and challenging!

Whittaker was a real master!

I discovered him recently, and have been practicing my bilateral whistling trills ever since.

I'm also working to extend my range. Whistling 3 full octaves with good tone throughout is no easy feat!

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
