French Translation Help!!
on: April 11, 2014, 06:15:39 AM
Can someone please translate/correct this paragraph in french for me....
Thanks for your time.

Via Google Translate:
My image is called 'Reflection Sorry. I took this picture at Metrotown when we were Metrotowers. This photo was taken in autumn in the afternoon. My picture shows the two image Metrotowers reflect each other on the walls of glass. First, one may be tempted to focus on the two towers, one must adjust the focus on the tree at the bottom. In the foreground we see the towers. In the background, there cloudy sky. Above, we see a window washer.
This photo shows the world trying to get rid of impurities. The imputerés are represented by the distorted reflections on the roofs and bare tree at the bottom. I decided to take this picture because I thought that the juxtaposition between the corrupt cosmopolitan world and the window cleaner works really represents the state of the world in today's society.

Reminds me a bit of the old computer translation of "Out of sight, out of mind" into Russian and then back into English -- when it came out "Invisible and insane".
Not that the translation is incorrect -- it's correct, but klunky. I'm sorry I don't have time to run through it all right now... except that in this particular context I'd have translated the name of the picture something more like "Desolate Reflexions" or "Unhappy Reflexions"...
