Hello Everyone,

What do you think of my new repertoire?....

Waldstein (complete) - Beethoven
Concerto No. 1 Eb+ - Liszt
Toccata - York Bowen
P&F in Bb+ (WTC I) - Bach
Alborada del Gracioso - Ravel
Paganini Etudes No. 4/6 - Liszt
Prelude Op. 23 No. 5 - Rachmaninoff
Pathetique - Beethoven
Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 - Liszt
Toccata - Bowen
Warrior/Memories in an Ancient Garden - Louie

The Bowen (slightly) aside, "new" seems something of a misnomer.

Thanks for your reply!
Sorry, I meant to be more descriptive...maybe "new to me". However, what do you think about my choices?

They're all good pieces. As far as "balance" - a little heavy on the romantic, a little light on the more contemporary.

agreed for most part.

hmm i'd add some Couperin, perhaps some  [your choice of] Mozart/Hadyn/Clementi to mix. Probably some McIntyre  too.

they are all great pieces! however, are you sure you want to learn all of them at the same time? why not just pick a few of them, get those up to a certain standard first, then begin another few of them?

Everyone learns a bit differently. I do best if I have a bunch I'm working on but have 1 main piece and have the others kind of drag behind but have that main one make leaps and bounds.

If I have just one piece to work on I actually learn it slower than if I had 5 with 1 main one.
Just here to lurk and cringe at my old posts now.
