Should there be a new board for Jazz and other piano music?
I'm thinking:

Jazz, Blues, and Contemporary stuff.  Maybe this should already go under repertoire, but I'm not too sure if PF is a classical orientated forum or a general piano repertoire forum.  Ah, I've posted here for like 10 months and still I don't know.  sigh...

well, jazz blues and comtemporary fit here already

but i think a forum for jazz, popular music, and improvisation - may be good(all in 1)

Maybe we should ask nils (the moderator) to start a separate section on this forum, a "Jazz Club" or something where jazz posts can be directed and jazz lovers can gather to jam.

I don't see a reason to categorize this forum into "classical piano", its the members that make the content, the only classification being "piano". However it seems there is not much talk on jazz, but I don't see any other reason than either nobody's got anything to discuss, or they're too shy to bring it up in midst of all the talk about classical music and hold back consciously. However I don't see why this is how it would have to be. Personally I see nothing in jazz, which is obviously a loss for myself, so I would be happy to see more discussion on it and read from people's posts what jazz is all about - in general and in detail.

I play jazz piano too and I was hoping for some talk of jazz, so I like this idea.
