on: September 02, 2014, 09:18:43 PM
If you had the opportunity to attend two of the following concerts, which ones would you choose?

-Rafal Blechacz playing mozart concerto 24/ Mahler 5th symphony
-Arcadi Volodos playing Schubert, Brahms and Schumann
-Mitsuko Uchida playing Beethoven and Schubert
-Richard Goode playing Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, Schumann,...
-Gabriela Montero playing Brahms, Schumann+free improvisations
-Grigory Sokolov--> program unknown
-Boris Berezovsky--> program unknown

Also tell me why you would choose them :)

Are you Belgian, by any chance? ;D

Sokolov and Volodos.

Reason: I like Volodos, I like Op. 118, I like Sokolov, I know he'll be playing Chopin.

Volodos is gonna be in my country to play Beethoven's 3rd concerto. I was expecting some Rachmaninoff but I'll go to see if I can get my copy of his Rach 3 album signed ;D.

Volodos and Montero.

Sokolov has a numinous quality to his playing, but leaves me cold.
He was not of an age, but for all time.
