Mozart - Fantasy in D minor K. 397
on: September 10, 2014, 01:08:47 AM
Hi everyone! Well, today I'm sharing with all you my performance of the Fantasy in D minor by Mozart, the K. 397.

The piece was composed during the time he was composing his opera "Idomeneo" and it wasn't completed by Mozart. It was one of his admirers -August Eberhard Müller- who ended the work. The piece was performed in Musikeon, a piano academy in Valencia, Spain.

Thank you very much and enjoy with the music!  ;D

I enjoyed your performance of the Fantasy.  I had not heard that this piece, one of my favorites of Mozart, was unfinished.  I surmise Muller took up the pen at the Allegretto, which is quite a contrast in character from the brooding body of the work.
