A riveting conversation with nationally celebrated Piano Technician,Israel Stein

Stein sat down to tune my Steinway M yesterday, and was amenable to share his insights about machine and aural tuning, standards for Certified Tuner examiners, modern day pianos and their antecedents, and even the universe of digitals. It was a lively exchange with a pulsating hammer driven sound-scape.
