 Tell me all about your great state. I just got accepted into a school out there and am giving it some serious consideration.

We have beach, we have mountains, it's also a decent-sized state, what school in particular?

 Appalachian State. I originally intended it to be my safety, as it's not super selective, but something in my gut tells me I'd really like it out there. From what I can tell, it seems somewhat like our Lake Tahoe. (I'm from California.)
