The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

Schumann piano concerto Op 54

Hey!  Does anyone have suggestions about how LH and RH fit together rhythmically in the 1st mvt at the 6/4 Andante espressivo?  There seem to be differing opinions here.

For example:  1st measure:  as written the last note of the RH should come exactly with the last note of the LH, but there are people suggesting that this is the way it is written but the RH note should come after the last note of the LH (I really wish I could just play it for you!).  Does this make sense?

Anyway, I will start there.  Any thoughts?

Thanks,
