I saw the anime and read all the manga chapters.
I liked the plot, even thought the ending is not a happy ending (spoilers), I felt that the girl who plays the violin is the antithesis of Chiaki of Nodame in relation to points of view.
The only problem for me, like in most of the romantic shonen stories, is that the main female characters are tsunderes, aggressive girls but hide their sweetness in themselves. Even though they put it just for comic relief, I felt injustice about hitting or kicking sweet boys like the main character about just misunderstandings, because he doesn't act or do what they want, or they act as bullies just to express feelings like love or sorrow.
