What do you think about my DipABRSM program?
on: February 03, 2015, 03:09:42 PM
Hi all,

I plan to take a DipABRSM exam next year. I need your advice about my program. What do you think about my program?
  • Bach WTC I No. 16
  • Haydn Andante con Variazoni in F minor
  • Schumann Romance Op. 28 No. 3
  • Debussy La Cathedrale Engloutie

The total time is about 26-27 minutes (I played without repeats the repeat marks). I need more pieces to achieve the minimum time. What pieces do you suggest? Should I play the repeat marks?

Note : my handspan is about one octave only (I have small hands)  ;D

Thank you for your help.

what's the req'd time? can you go over? is there a set list of pieces or do you have freedom to pick and choose what you want to play?

The minimum time is 31.5 minutes and the maximum time is 38.5 minutes if you read the syllabus. I had mad several choices of pieces, but I would like to hear your opinion first. Thank you.
