No it's not new or clever. There are some great shreds of Glenn Gould, Zimmerman, Argerich, Horowitz and more among others. Shreds have been a thing for several years. I can understand why you don't like it though. I am sorry mine wasn't good enough for you. But please check this one out. I didn't make it, its the best one youtube though...

Sadly enough, it was new to me. I had never heard of this concept before (I do NOT live under a rock, I swear).
I've known movies to dub over the original audio and do parodies and spoofs, but never had I known it to enter the musical world. My hatred towards it wasn't directed simply at yours, but basically of the concept that it exists. Again, I have never really liked those movies where they over-dub the audio and put silly dialogue over the top - maybe I'm just a little too serious...

I'll admit - the one you posted again, didn't spike my interest, or my attention, so I will definitely steer clear of them. Again, I think the main thing that baffled me was that they existed. It's like when you see videos like this:
And are just shocked simply because they exist...
