Favorite composers for orchestral music.

Not just your favorite, someone you think that was creative, unique, and innovative. Explain what he did, and what he introduced or improved in orchestral/symphonic writing!

So far I think I have a major hard-on for the nordic composers: Nielsen and Sibelius (I remember reading that Outin dislikes Sibelius...??!?!?!?).





I'll go into more detail if people actually respond to this thread lmao
