What is this pieces called again?
on: March 11, 2015, 08:50:16 AM
Learned it once back in the days where I used to play piano and now I'd like to hear the original again.

I uploaded a crappy version but maybe you recognize it ;)

hmm...I remember to have heard that music before.. . Thus, a suggestion: is it from "Corpse Bride", from the piano duet? At least, perhaps similarities exist from 0:16 on ( your mp3 ) and from 1:31 on ( the Video )...

Just my 2 cents.

greetings, 8_oct ;)

it's from the movie "the piano" and the piece is called "the heart asks pleasure first" / "the promise" by michael nyman

Hi cwjalex,

good find!  :) I should have watched both of the movies  :(
But at least, some Corpse Bride-tracks and some The Piano-music sometimes appear together in some playlists.

Weak solace for me - and Karma for you!  ;)

cordially, 8_oct!
