Good to see you posting again John. Of the recent bunch I like the butterfly one best, largely because the texture and playing forms are new for you. As I think I said before, expanding your harmonic, rhythmic and haptic vocabulary will not hamper your fluency in previous styles. In fact, it is intriguing how musical personality seems to persist despite our most deliberate attempts to change it. So do not hesitate to experiment with all facets of your music as it can only increase your enjoyment and enhance your creative drive.
