Need lower intermediate minor key pieces
on: March 31, 2015, 06:16:55 PM
I have an adult intermediate student that is attracted to fairly easy minor key pieces. Anyone have any ideas?

"Intermediate" is a broad category. Could you specify more for us what pieces he/she has played?

chopin preludes 4 and 6?
Here's an idea.. go to
https://www.pianosyllabus.com/default.php
put "minor" (no quotes) in the title field and 3 (or 4.. or whatever grade you think he is) in the grade field and voila! More intermediate minor pieces than you can poke a stick at.
Or rather...since s/he's an adult, tell her/him to do that, then use spotify or youtube etc. to listen to the pieces and decide which s/he'd like to play.
