Hi ballade345,

Bartok, Concone, Heller, Bertini, Berens, Duvernoy, RCM etudes.

More advanced would be Chopin, Brahms.

I hope that's what you were looking for, Joe.

P.S. Welcome to Pianostreet!

Godowsky left hand etudes of Chopin. Get those down and the Chopin etudes become a breeze!  ;D

Hi Joe,

Concone! Very interesting..!

I've got this one: Concone, 15 Etudes brillantes ( titlepage attached! )

They are very nice!

Cordially, 8_oct!

We should differentiate between finger studies and etudes, however. Dohnanyi said something like "finger studies are preferable to studies in that they do not have to be memorized", something like that.
Another good source of study is Cramer, as well as Schmit, which Bob mentioned.

Hi ballade345,

I didn't know just how advanced you are. These may be more of what your looking for.

Tausig, Joseffy, Phillip, Moszkowski, Peskanov, Rachmaninoff, Thalberg, Debussy, Scriabin, Alkan, Tellefsen, Moscheles.

I hope I have been helpful, Joe.

I think the Kramer etudes would be a good choice!
