Mozart sonata 10
on: April 11, 2015, 07:07:46 PM

So I'm an aspiring pianist and would like to major in music at a top college in the US that offers dual degree like Bienen, Eastman, UMich, etc.
Could you watch my vid of Mozart's 10th sonata, give feedback and assess my chances please?

I think you may want to repost this in the teachers' section of the forum.

As someone who is not a teacher, my impression is that you have great consistency to tempo and good clarity.  If there is a suggestion is would be that your version doesn't quite have the "singing" quality that I enjoy in the best Mozart renditions.  I, too, am working on a Mozart piano sonata, and my teacher emphasizes singing the piece...and imagining the expression as if it were a Mozart opera aria.

But, again, not a pro!
